Evening Primrose

This beautiful, upright, yellow flowered plant has many medicinal and culinary uses. The flowers can be eaten raw in salads, as a cooked vegetable or used in conserves, custards, tarts or confections. Leaves are added to salads, eaten as a potherb or mixed with other herbs and used as a stuffing for meat or poultry. The flowers can also be used in a tea that is good for headaches, feverish chills or head colds. Certified Organic when sold in BC.
